Discount Clothes

Price:  Varies
Location: Lot Less

Review:  I really wasn't in the mood to buy any new clothes because my closet is filled with clothes. I also made a silent vow to not buy any new clothes for a year, but Lot Less makes it so hard to live by that.  I bought the black and white top for $5.99 and the red GAP shirt for $2.99. The price just does not get any better than that. Where will you find a GAP shirt for less than three dollars? However, the flip side is that there are no returns on the GAP shirt because it is a final sale.

I also bought a pair of brown gloves to match my winter coat because the cold weather is coming. The gloves only set me back $3.99 and these gloves have cell phone touch screen capability.  I really love this place because you can find odds and ends for cheap. It can be hard to shop here because you have hoards of people surrounding the clothes.  Also, if you see an item you have to buy it right away because it will be gone the next day. I learned that lesson the hard way.

The lines can be long, but they move pretty quickly.  The cashiers are quick and they take credit cards here.  You can return or exchange your items if you have a receipt. I've done it once with no problems.

Result:  I hope I don't blow my next paycheck here.

Essie Nail Polish

Price: 3 for $0.99
Location: Lot Less

Review: I work right next a Lot Less store by my job in Lower Manhattan and it is addicting to walk out with nothing. This store is simply the best because they have everything at discounted prices. I buy gifts for family and friends here such as housewares, beauty, clothes. and food. I tell everyone to buy your items quick because they will be gone by the end of the day.  This particular day, I found Essie products for less and I was sooooo thrilled.  I love painting my nails and they had ESSIE products.  Essie is the best nail polish because they make fabulous colors and the pigments are very rich.  I was over the moon when I found out how cheap these nail polish were - granted they are three seasons old, but still great!  I got a greenish color called Stylnomics which I have no used yet, but I did use Power Clutch and Cashmere Bathrobe. Those are the gray colors on the end.  These three colors were so cheap because the oil had separated, but a good shake and you bring them back to life.  I paid full price of $2.99 for the Essie top coat called Good to Go.  I really love this store because you can find a bargain and I love buying makeup here. Why pay full price when you don't have to?  The Essie products are great and I loved the way my nails glowed.

Result:  You know I'll be back for more nail polish.
