Cofresh Hummus Chips

Price:  $0.99 a bag
Location: Jack's World

Review: I found these awesome hummus chips at Jack's.  I love their selection of snacks there.  I thought, "Hmmm, hummus chips are new and different. Something that I've never tried before." So, I bought two bags -Sea Salt and Tomato & Basil flavored. The sea salt did not taste salty at all.  It didn't have much flavor to it. The company Cofresh uses chickpea flour and grinded sea salt to make the chip. The chip itself reminds me of pasta shells, but they taste kind of hard.  It is not as light and crispy as a potato chip. The chip does sound healthy because it is 35% less fat, but it is still kind of greasy and my hands were slightly oily.  The chips are make in the UK and imported to the USA, so it is pretty neat. However, the sea salt hummus chip is pretty flavorless though. The tomato & basil was slightly better with paprika seasoning, but it was still hard to eat.

Result:  I wouldn't consider buying them for the 2nd time.
